Tadej Golob, born in 1967 in Maribor, works as a journalist and writes mostly for sports magazines and Playboy. So far, sports have been the main subject also of his books, for example a book about the first downhill from the Mount Everest and the biography of Slovenian basketball star Peter Vilfan. 2009 his first novel Svinjske nogice (Pigs‘ Feet) was published and awarded with the Kresnik 2010 for the best novel of the year. In 2011 his novel for young people Zlati zob (The Golden Tooth) will be published.
