Aleš Šteger

Aleš Šteger, born in 1973, holds degrees in Comparative Literature and German from the University of Ljubljana. He was one of the initiators of the international poetry festival Days of Poetry and Wine and works as a free-lance writer and editor as well as translator from German, English and Spanish in Ljubljana. So far, he has published five books of poetry and three books of prose (essays). Some of his works were translated into English, German, Spanish, Lithuanian, Czech, Slovakian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Croatian. He was granted several national and international awards.
